Warehouse and Inventory Manager

You will be part of our site leadership team and will be responsible for the Warehouse, Mill and Security teams.You will be accountable for the management of the Just in Time movement of Inventory onto and around our Poole Site whilst ensuring Safety First, Service Excellence and delivery against budget. You will create a highly effective and efficient Warehousing and Inventory management solution that is integrated with the rest of the business.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure your areas of accountability comply with all legislation and ethical standards with regards to Health and Safety, Food Safety, Environmental requirements and Employee legislation
• Championing an environment of Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
• Promote employee engagement and motivation across the operation
• Deliver a flexible operation that is well equipped to respond to changing demand levels and customer mix
• Stock Integrity and Management – sustainable MUV improvements and a significant reduction in Stock Provision
• The management of Risk and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) – Site Security and the management of Visitors is an element of this role

What does ‘great’ look like?

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience of managing a Warehouse and of developing systems and processes to support this
• Significant knowledge of FIFO, MLOR
• Experience of managing a budget >£500k
• You may have completed recognised Warehouse and/or Logistics Training
• Understanding of Milling (desirable)
• Previous experience of managing site security (desirable)
• Manufacturing management experience (desirable)
• MFG Pro (desirable)
