Engineering Team Leader

Our goal is to be as efficient as possible, providing the business with what it needs to service the customer at the lowest cost. This is where our Engineering team comes in!

What’s it all about?

Whilst promoting a culture of safety first, the role will involve managing the shift engineering team, coordinating and prioritising engineering activities according to site requirements. You will work cross functionally across the site, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. In turn, you will support the team in continuously improving the site through planned maintenance and repair, driving our growth and profit.
You will have great judgement, able to effectively lead and motivate the team to achieve site targets, whilst communicating clearly to ensure we are all aligned to the goal of growing our Cereals business.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to make a difference, with a focussed and pragmatic approach to problem solving in a fast paced environment.

Experience and Skills

• Working in an environment that has Health and Safety as a high priority, ideally where behavioural safety has been rolled out
• Experience within FMCG production environment and managing cross functional teams
• Able to demonstrate the successful management and delivery of improvement projects
• Able to demonstrate effective people management skills
• Fully qualified engineer preferably with experience in a food manufacturing environment.

You might also have/be:

• Familiar with RCA and FMEA techniques.
• Degree level education.
