Customer Supply Chain & Logistics Manager (International)

As a member of the Leadership Team, reporting to the Department Controller, this role lies at the heart of a fast paced and growing International Supply Chain function delivering our brands across the world. As Customer Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, the key mission is to manage, motivate and coach the team of 6, working collaboratively with Planning, Commercial, and Manufacturing functions as well as building long term relationships with Customers and 3rd Party Logistics & Warehouse Suppliers. Managing a budget of £5.3mpa and the customer supply chain team, you will lead the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and 4 European 3PLs across France & Holland and our container shipping providers. Key accountabilities

• Develop, communicate, and deliver Global Customer Supply strategy in line with business plans
• Contract & Budget management for International Logistics & Warehouse suppliers
• Development & coaching of the Customer Supply Team & Logistics Team to deliver best in class cost and supply to our Global customers and distributors
• Define, communicate, and embed excellent Customer & Supplier Relationship Management focussed on supply, service, and cost efficiency
• Leadership and coaching of your team to deliver functional, developmental, and business targets & KPIs (Budget & Inventory Control, Customer Supply, Cost To Serve, Efficiency +, Upskilling, Performance Monitoring).
• End to end process improvements through team for KPI management, stock replenishment (UK to EU/Australia), order to delivery, cashflow (returns/debits), cost-to-serve, relationship management, stock holding parameters
• Act as functional expert and escalation on relevant legislative requirements for export markets
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems that could delay the release or movement of export shipments ensuring government/customs compliance is adhered to
• Invoice control via P2P process and analysis of supplier Management Information
• Bi-annual 3PL stock audit & reconciliations
• Resource planning and allocation to enable delivery of team specific and business wide projects
• Stakeholder relationship management (internal and external)
• Support delivery of the functional strategy whilst supporting business growth plans
• Deliver KPIs – budget & inventory control, availability, delivery standards, customer communication, & CI
• Department lead for any International implementations/changes in current or new markets
• Promote a culture of positive safety behaviours within your team, demonstrate strong safety leadership and address unsafe behaviours and working practices to coach the right behaviours.
• Ensure adherence to relevant Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements

Experience and Skills

• Supplier, contract, and customer management
• Proven track record of leading and developing a small team in a supply chain function
• EU Languages desirable but not essential
• Experience with ERP/ Microsoft Excel, PP & Word
